The Appalachian Trail Hits the Street

The Applachian Trail is over 2100 miles long stretching from Georgia to Maine. Hanover, NH is one of it's most famous trail towns where the trail actually winds it's way through the town's streets and across the Dartmouth Campus.

I read Bill Bryson's "A Walk in the Woods" about the AT but I don't recall his mentioning the trail going through the town. Thanks for the info and the great pics!
