Forget Me Not

Nobody has lived in my childhood home since my sister passed away last summer.  I checked on the house the week and my mother's Forget Me Not were in wild bloom.  Such a small flower but 1000's of blooms make an impressive display, especially when you spend 20 minutes on your stomach staring at them through a camera.  It was another moment in my life where a camera in my hand made an experience something more than it ever would have been with out it.

Joe's Sugar Hill Lupine Bloom Report

My travels took me to Franconia yesterday.  Untimely light for photography, but I'm happy to report strong growth and the Lupine Festival starts today.  I think the fields need a little more time to simmer for my taste.  Y'all step carefully out there in the mean time!
