I'm going to do a three part Best of 2013 series this year. First up is Race Photos. Stay tuned for Landscapes and People. Maybe someday I'll specialize in one area but for now it's too much fun making all these different types of photos!
I didn't shoot as many races in 2013 as I originally planned, but I was still really excited about the race images I made this year. Things kicked off with great outings at snowshoe races in NH and went on to include shooting two National Championship races, some local running, a first time spot on the press van for the Mt. Washington Road Race and my first endurance obstacle course race.
I have to thank the athletes that make their way in front of my lens. Without you, there is no picture and there is not story. I'm such a fan of the sport and the dedication you bring to it. Your support of my work has been awesome and inspiring and I'm honored to be part of this community.
