Evening Cow Pasture
Chocorua, NH
This was one of those U-Turn photographs. I drove past this scene heading home last evening and did the hectic turn around to go back to it. Ten minutes prior I had been standing in the Chocorua Lake making images of sunset water reflections.
Throwing my tripod on my shoulder, I ran across Route 16 in the headlights of Friday night vacationer traffic. One of my wet flip flops was momentarily stranded in the middle of the highway. Photography can be dangerous business. It was nearly dark when I got set and fired the shutter for an exposure over a second long.
