I'm a New Englander born and bred and scenes like this are sort of hard wired inside me. Freedom, NH, the town where we live, has an Old Home Week celebration every Summer and its inspired a little project... The Old Homes of Freedom. This is the first installment.

Nice photo Joe. We lived in Freedom for 9 years (79-88) in a white house, last on the left as you are driving up the hill out of the village towards 153. It was a great place to raise our daughter and everyone knew everyone. I've read a few stories about a drug farm, a suspected murderer etc. What happened? Come on Joe, try and keep a lid on things lol.

Thanks for note Danny. I'm a transplant to town. I married a Freedom gal and the rest is history when we moved here in 2005. It's a great place. All the Old Home tags on the blog are old places in Freedom. How did you find the pic?
Every once in awhile I surf 'Freedom' images. Are you from Mass.?
